Sylk is a light, silky fluid that is usually a very pale gold colour and which naturally mimics your body's mucosal secretions. The colour changes slightly according to the time of year the kiwi-fruit vine extract is harvested and the rate of flow of sap in the vines. Sylk has a very slight "plant" taste and smell which is pleasant, unlike some chemical lubricants . So unlike manufacturers of some other brands, we're not afraid to tell you what's in ours!

All ingredients are 100% natural or, when natural ingredients are not commercially available, nature-identical ingredients are used. Nature-identical ingredients are identical in every respect to the natural product and their properties cannot be differentiated from the natural ingredient.

Directions for use
Using clean fingers, apply a small amount to the genital area. Add a few drops of water or repeat application to reactivate lubricity. Approx. 10 uses per 40g bottle.

Pregnancy Precautions
Although Sylk is not intended as a spermicide, Sylk's pH balance can affect motility, the movement of sperm and therefore, should not be used if pregnancy is desired. (Also true of most other personal lubricants.)

When ovulation occurs, the pH balance changes to around 7 which is a neutral pH state. Sylk has a pH balance of 4.5 - 4.7, similar to the normal vaginal environment, i.e. slightly acidic. This is deliberate to keep the vagina healthy and not alter the balance.
