Our Styrian pumpkin seeds are sourced from the original Styrian region in Austria, where they were bred and have been grown for hundreds of years. They are not treated in any way on arrival into Australia.

The Activation Process

Although even raw nuts are one of Nature´s finest high protein vegetarian and vegan foods, in order to be truly functional and a superfood, they need some gentle treatment to make them digestible.

Nuts are the seeds of plants and they contain a cocktail of natural chemicals, put there by the parent plant to prevent them from rotting on the forest floor or being eaten. These natural chemicals make the nuts indigestible to our systems, and therefore effectively toxic. The main ones which affect us as consumers are phytic acid and enzyme inhibitors.
