Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3 1000 IU) 25 µg

Cholecalciferol (vitamin D) is a fat-soluble nutrient that is manufactured in the skin through the action of sunlight. Vitamin D regulates calcium and phosphate metabolism which is important in the maintainence of bone health.

Blackmores Vitamin D3 1000 IU - Dosage
Adults – Take 1 capsule a day with a meal, or as professionally prescribed.
Children under 12 years – Only as professionally prescribed.

Contraindications and cautions
Vitamin supplements should not replace a balanced diet.

Medicine interactions
Vitamin D3 may cause hypercalcaemia (high calcium levels) if taken with thiazide diuretics (fluid tablets). Consult your healthcare professional before use if taking a diuretic. Women's Bio Balance™ Antibiotics may inactivate probiotics if taken at the same time. Separate doses by at least two hours.
