Contraindications and cautions
The recommended daily dose of this medicine contains a small amount of caffeineContains selenium which is toxic in high doses.

A daily dose of 150 µg for adults of selenium from dietary supplements should not be exceeded

Medicine Interactions:
Folinic acid- may decrease the effectiveness of methotrexate in the treatment of leukaemia

Calcium, magnesium and zinc may decrease the absorption and efficacy of some medications. If taking tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics, bisphosphonates (osteoporosis drugs) or thyroid hormone separate doses by at least two hours.

Vitamin C may increase iron absorption. Caution with conditions of iron overload (haemochromatosis, thalassaemia, leukaemia, polycythaemia and sideroblastic anaemia)

If taking methyldopa, carbidopa, levodopa, thyroid hormones, penicillamine, tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics or biphosphonates (osteoporosis drugs) separate doses by at least 2 hours. Iron may decrease the absorption and efficacy of these medications.
